Debora C. Martin enjoys writing about people and journeys that reveal truths about all of us. Her Chapbook, Misconnections, was a finalist in the 2024 Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance Chapbook Competition. Her short fiction and creative nonfiction have been published in the anthology, Everywhere Stories: Short Fiction from a Small Planet, Vol 3, Parentheses Journal, STORGY Magazine, Typishly, The Portland Press Herald, Every Day Fiction, and Microfiction Monday.
Before writing, Debora held a number of policy positions at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington D.C. She has visited forty-five states and over forty foreign countries for work, play, study, and teaching.
Debora is the second of eight children. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Hartford and a Master of Urban Affairs from Boston University. She currently lives in Maine where she recently completed her first novel and is at work on a new one.
